Small Dog and Cat Testing

A small dog and/or cat test has done on some of the Greyhounds. It is a once off, initial, indication only. Greyhounds that are stressed during the testing can “shut-down” and not give a true result of their suitability of living with small pets.

Adoption Fee

Dogs are free if going to approved rescue organisations (such as GAP, GSN etc) under the duress that the appropriate vet work etc will of course be done.

All dogs adopted directly from the kennel will be desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heart wormed, deflea-ed, wormed and given a general vet check. They will come with a collar, lead and muzzle. Our costs to you are only to cover the vet work necessary.

Dogs aged 1-6 years are $230

Dogs aged 7 yrs + are $150

Transport

These greyhounds can be transported free of charge to drop-off points in VIC, SA and NSW. Dogs to other states can be arranged with as low a cost as is possible.

Returning a Greyhound

If for any reason a dog adopted is no longer able to be cared for the dog will be returned to the Vic kennels. Please contact us without hesitation if this occurs.
